Lighting-sprinters are nearly the size of elephants, but their bones are light weight, giving them the ability to run at high-speeds.
How fast? Would you believe 90 miles an hour?
The secret in a Lighting-sprinter’s high-running speed is in its muscles. While its bones are light, its shoulder and hip muscles are HUGE.
Its front legs propel the animal forward while its rear legs spring forward and push it off of the ground.
Another key is that their nostrils are on their backs, providing large quantities of air while running.

Speed and sheer muscle power to do it, these guys play the role of the antelope on Athena's plains and Savannah.
